Debra Koppman is a Bay Area visual artist,
writer, editor and educator. Working in a variety of media, she creates mixed media sculpture made largely
from recycled materials, prints, hand-made paper, masks, puppets, and
theater sets. Her abstract work is inspired by and alludes to the folk arts
of many cultures of North and South America, Africa, and Asia.
